Lesli Overton-Tuck: We had taken our daughter, Madeleine, to some of the "best" photo studios in town. We always felt rushed, and the photographers always seemed a bit manic about moving us through to get on to the next appointment. As a result we usually only had about 20 shots to review and none of them captured her at all. I won’t even go into the “package” fiascos and the hard sells. Ugh! Sarah arrived at our home fully prepared with a few props if we so chose and really spent time getting to know Madeleine. She just let her be her and followed her around with her camera. As a result, we had over one hundred shots that captured the true essence and character of Madeleine. One person who saw the photos said she had never seen Madeleine before but felt like she “knew” her after seeing the pictures. Now, that’s a testimony! I couldn’t have been more pleased!

Michele O'Connor:I met Sarah in 2006 at the Gymboree play center in Plano. At the time she was a nanny to two little boys in the same class as my sons. Sarah was a natural with those boys and my sons loved her as well (and still do!) You could tell that she genuinely loved kids. Quite often we would have playdates after class and she was a joy to be around - always laughing with the kids and telling funny stories about the cute things the boys had done. When Sarah started photography as a hobby and shared the pictures she took I thought they were amazing! And when she started taking pictures professionally I was excited to schedule a session with her. We spent an hour one beautiful afternoon in the fall at the Arboretum where she got my kids to take some photos that I just love. That in itself is no small task as my kids really can't stand having their pictures taken. I got a disc of about 40 pictures that I could order in any size and from anywhere I liked. She even suggested a great website to order from. It's a good thing too because there were far too many good pictures to choose from! Now that my in-laws are moving to the Dallas area we are planning another session with Sarah for some family photos and I can't wait to see how they turn out.

There are so many good ones I've literally run out of places to put them. She's the best photographer I've seen at just getting kids to be kids. Can't wait to use her again!
